About Athabasca in the Light

The drive along the Icefields Parkway has been named one of the most scenic drives in the world. The towering mountains,  hanging glaciers and endless vistas make it hard to argue this point. There are so many viewpoints to stop along the way as you make the journey from Lake Louise to Jasper. Explore a little deeper into the park and the opportunities to uncover new sights will amaze you. As we were returned from taking a closer look at the retreating Columbia Icefield we stopped to take in the beautiful view of Mt. Athabasca, just to the left, an often overlooked but equally spectacular scene.
