About Lone Raven

Ravens are often associated with loss and ill omen but sometimes they serve as a connection between the material and spiritual worlds. When the sun begins to shine and the raven takes flight there seems to be a miraculous transformation. When the ominous black plumage is lit up by a sunbeam a kaleidoscope of colours is revealed.   This painting captures a moment in time as the raven transforms from its dark form to a vibrant cacophony of colour. If you wait long enough, dark will always transform to light.
