About Sheep River Sunrise

The Sheep River begins in the mountain valleys of Kananaskis country. The river flows through some small southwestern Alberta towns. We are fortunate enough to live close to the river which provides endless inspiration when we sit along the banks and enjoy the nature that abounds. Deer, coyotes and the occasional bear use these river banks as a natural corridor. During an early morning walk, we managed to capture this scene as the sun began to rise and the bright glow reflected off the semi-frozen river on this early spring morning.
