A Moment in Time captures the thrilling split second between anticipation and reward. Three grizzly bears perch at the top of a rushing waterfall, their attention fixed on the spawning salmon fighting their way upstream. One bear waits with its mouth wide open as a determined fish launches itself from the water, seemingly destined for its hungry jaws, while the other two watch intently. With the waterfall frozen in motion and the outcome left unknown, the painting tells a story that only nature can finish. Will the bear make its catch, or will the salmon escape? That fleeting uncertainty is the heart of A Moment in Time.
