Legend has it the murky water created by the rock flour floating at the top of Emerald Lake hides some past secrets. Apparently in times past the hotel which first existed in this spot used to bury refuse at the bottom of the lake including three old brass bathtubs, Many divers have spent countless hours searching the bottom of the lake for any clues to prove this story to be true.
