When we were painting this piece during a recent market, we asked people what they would name him. Light Lunch and Bruce were some of the more memorable names. The Cree believe the moose is a symbol of endurance and survival. We feel a strong connection to this piece and struggled to come up with a name until it just came to us when we were listening to the radio and a Steve Miller song began to play and we sang along…
