Sometimes the mountains surrounding the Three Sisters are overlooked as the trio takes over centerstage and captures most visitors' attention. On a long summer evening, we looked out past the Three Sisters to a smaller peak in the background. It was the last peak lit up by the late evening sun. The colour was so bold and bright that it seemed to us the peak was shouting out " look at me". This painting is inspired by that small peak making a big statement.
